Are you ready to be the change you want to see in the world? Are you curious about the next level in governing ourselves?
Are you part of a community or group that’s ready to take the next step toward effective governance and decision making?
Join us for this dynamic half-day workshop, where Diana Leafe Christian will teach an overview of Sociocracy, which means “governance by peers and colleagues”. It is a whole systems approach to designing and leading organizations, both big and small. It is based on principles, methods, and a structure that creates a resilient and coherent system. It uses transparency, inclusiveness, and accountability to increase harmony, effectiveness, and productivity.
You will get a sense of what Sociocracy is and how it works, why people like using it, and enough information about and practice of Sociocracy’s “Selecting People for Roles (Elections) process” to use it in your group.
Diana Leafe Christian is an author, former editor of Communities magazine, and an international speaker and workshop presenter on starting new ecovillages, building communities, and on sustainability. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to experience Diana’s workshop in the midst of a beautiful, natural setting right on the lake here at the Cove.
This half-day workshop in Flat Rock is $50. The address is:
